Chain of custody in feed hauling: from silo to barn

In feed hauling, the distance between routine and disaster is one compartment. A truck has several compartments, each with a different feed - broiler, layer, medicated. Loading the wrong compartment at the mill, or connecting the discharge pipe to the wrong silo at the customer, can harm an entire flock. GPS alone is not enough, because the problem is not only where - but what, into which compartment and which silo.

The solution is built on verification at two points. At loading, the system reads the source silo and verifies the right compartment opened. At discharge, OCR reads the silo number and the farm sign and checks against the order - on a mismatch, the driver is alerted before connecting the pipe.

Beyond mistakes, there is cross-contamination. Medicated-feed residue in a compartment that continues to the next customer is a real risk. The system detects whether the compartment truly emptied, logs the door-open time and photographs the interior - so every delivery has a clean record.

The result is full traceability: for every kilo you can tell which silo it loaded from, which compartment, which customer and which silo it discharged into. If an incident happens, the answer to "where did this feed come from" is found in minutes, not days. Preventing a single incident is enough to pay the system back.
