GPS Disruptions Map
GPS Disruptions Map - Israel & the Region
Where GPS is vanishing or lying right now. The public map updates daily from aviation (ADS-B) data and shows interference zones - a working tool for anyone running a fleet.
Green - no interference detected; yellow through red - rising interference. Data is collected from aircraft at high altitude, so the map reflects regional trends - not necessarily what a vehicle on the road experiences.
Jamming vs. spoofing - two different failures
Jamming floods the frequency with noise: the receiver loses its position and the vehicle vanishes from the map.
Spoofing broadcasts a fake signal: the vehicle doesn't vanish - it reports a wrong location with full confidence. The data keeps writing, it's just false.
What it does to a fleet
Trip and mileage reports corrupt, distance-based settlement breaks, geofences stop working and location alerts fire falsely or stay silent. In a passenger fleet - a parent or client gets a wrong answer about where the shuttle is.
How MIS26 systems keep working
Recording, event detection and driver identification run locally on the vehicle and don't depend on the satellite: every event is captured with a timestamp even during a disruption, video cross-checked against vehicle data exposes a lying position, and data syncs when reception returns. A GPS point can be jammed - local video cannot.
