While the trucks work - the agents learn: how AI turns telemetry into a work plan

A municipal collection operation generates enormous data without anyone intending it: every truck streams location, speed, engine hours and operating zones; inspectors and residents report hazards with photo, location and status; and the maintenance system accumulates faults, repeat tickets and completed work. In most municipalities that data sits in three separate silos - used for nothing beyond the monthly report.

MIS26's agents layer sits exactly on that seam. While the trucks are working, the agents learn: crossing telemetry with field reports and maintenance history, spotting patterns no human would see - a route that slowly stretches, a zone that generates repeat complaints, a vehicle burning engine hours standing still.

What comes out the other side? Three concrete things. Insights and routes - optimization recommendations and data-driven planning instead of intuition. Automatic reports - daily summaries, before/after comparisons, even invoices built from the execution data itself. And real-time alerts - a deviation from plan is flagged the moment it happens, not at the month-end meeting.

The important part: the agents don't replace the department head - they give him his time back. Instead of digging through reports to understand what happened, he gets the exceptions flagged and the recommendations reasoned - and makes decisions. As the system accumulates more months of data, the recommendations sharpen: today's fleet teaches tomorrow's work plan.
